What is DERELIKT?
DERELIKT is a narrative first-person shooter with survival-horror resource pressure, dialogue, puzzles and a deliberately PS1-era presentation. It is developed by Visuwyg and published by Hyperstrange.
You arrive aboard Von Neumann Outpost, a research station grafted onto an anomalous asteroid in Saturn’s orbit, as an outside contractor. Excavation Team Delta has gone missing and the remaining crew are hiding things. The station is failing, the halls are dark, and something much older than the outpost is active inside the rock.
It is not a co-op survival sandbox. The store listings confirm a single-player game. The reference points named by the developer are Alien Resurrection,System Shock 2 and Doom 3, with a cosmic-horror edge.

Story and setting
“The carcass of a gigantic creature was discovered in orbit around Saturn. You were hired to investigate.”
Official DERELIKT itch.io page
The research outpost was grafted onto the asteroid years before the game begins. Speaking to the scientists reveals stories about “the old song” working its way into their heads. The PlayStation.Blog adds a missing Excavation Team Delta, a mysterious drone driving the crew toward a breaking point, and a service elevator leading deeper into the ancient bone structure.
| Claim | Status |
|---|---|
| The carcass of a gigantic creature was discovered in orbit around Saturn. | Confirmed |
| A research outpost, Von Neumann Outpost, was grafted onto an anomalous asteroid. | Confirmed |
| The player arrives as an outside contractor to find out what happened to Excavation Team Delta. | Confirmed |
| The station’s systems are failing and the survivors tell conflicting stories. | Confirmed |
| A mysterious drone is driving the crew toward a breaking point. | Confirmed |
| The mystery involves something older inside the asteroid, connected to “the old song.” | Confirmed |
The Von Neumann Outpost file covers the station, the likely level structure and the story questions still unanswered.
Twelve levels, a station and a way back
The GOG feature list says DERELIKT has 12 levels in and around the dark space outpost, with subtle “Metroidvania” progression. New equipment opens previously inaccessible routes, encouraging backtracking. That is a meaningful structural detail: the station is not a straight corridor of arenas.
The official descriptions divide the space into corridors, labs, maintenance shafts and crew quarters, then push deeper into stranger places inside the rock. The action moves between industrial infrastructure and organic alien interiors.

The game does not publish an official map, level names or a route through all 12 levels. This site will not generate fake coordinates or “best route” pages before a full release is available.
NPCs, dialogue and trust
Over a dozen NPCs remain aboard the station. The official feature list describes them as useful, dangerous, doomed, or a combination of all three. GOG’s official feature list calls it a “robust dialogue system”; the itch.io page confirms branching dialogue. Conversations can expose different versions of what happened.
Official screenshots name four characters: Dr. Vloonikov, Louis Hartman, Peter Conrad and Julie Collier. Their roles, allegiances and full dialogue trees are not public. The character file collects their confirmed first lines without inventing backstories.
| Fact | Status |
|---|---|
| More than a dozen NPCs remain aboard | Confirmed |
| Branching dialogue is included | Confirmed |
| NPCs have conflicting accounts and hidden agendas | Confirmed |
| Four names appear in official screenshots | Confirmed |
| Any named NPC’s full role, motives or fate | Unknown |
| Can choices lock you out of content or change outcomes? | Unknown |
Combat is a budget, not a power fantasy
The official description lists an arsenal of traditional and alien weapons, plus outlandish prototypes found as you progress. Ammo, health and inventory space matter. The store page explicitly says you have enough firepower to survive but not enough to feel safe.
A Noisy Pixel preview adds preview-level detail: a crowbar is available, ammunition can run out mid-fight, and glyph fragments open upgrade slots affecting damage, vitality or dexterity. Those are observations from the demo, not a final stat sheet.
| Element | Status | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Resource pressure | Confirmed | Ammo, health and inventory space matter. Conventional firearms, prototypes and alien weapons compete for the same limited slots. |
| Glyph upgrades | Preview | A unique glyph upgrade system offers damage, vitality and dexterity trade-offs. Preview reports say inspecting glyph fragments costs health. |
| Puzzles and routes | Confirmed | Old-school environmental puzzles and new equipment unlock routes through 12 levels with subtle Metroidvania-style backtracking. |
The full weapons and glyph guide explains what is known and what is not. There is no verified tier list.
The PS1 look is the headline
DERELIKT deliberately recreates late PlayStation-era 3D horror. The official list includes affine texture warping, dynamic subdivision, hand-painted vertex colour, animated textures and full-motion CGI cutscenes. The PlayStation.Blog says the game uses 100% hand-painted textures and gives players the option to toggle effects on or off.
The result is not a blur filter over a modern renderer claim. The developer describes hardware research and a deliberate PS1-pipeline look, while retaining modern controls and quality-of-life changes. The demo is the best public test of whether that combination works for you.

Who is making it?
Visuwyg is the development studio of creator and art director Philipp Jensen. Hyperstrange, the Warsaw-based publisher behind Blood West andJupiter Hell, is publishing. Jensen says the game has been in development in some form since late 2021 and began as research into the PS1 look.
No engine is publicly confirmed in the sources reviewed. No final content roadmap or post-launch plan has been published.

What is still unknown
These are the facts that would require filler or invention if this site pretended to have a complete wiki today:
- Exact unlock time on 13 November 2026
- A formal publisher price announcement and regional price table
- Final PC system requirements for storage and recommended hardware
- Official names, damage, ammo and upgrade values for every weapon
- Official names, health, damage and weaknesses for every enemy
- The complete NPC roster, roles and dialogue outcomes
- Map and level names for all 12 levels
- Endings, story resolution and post-launch content plans
- Xbox Series release date
- Whether a PS5 demo, physical edition or Steam Deck verification will exist
- The engine and any mod support
Why there is no fake weapon or enemy database
There are no official stat sheets for every gun or creature. Some names appear in previews, and four NPC names appear in screenshots, but health values, damage numbers, drop tables and full enemy rosters are not public. The site can document the confirmed categories and clearly labelled preview observations; it cannot invent the rest.
When the full game launches, this page will be revised with tested systems and proper entity pages. Until then, the weapons file andthreat file are honest working documents, not fabricated databases.
